The Government of Québec has published a policy statement on digital sovereignty and information technology procurement. Its objective is to better protect data, strengthen local digital capabilities, and reduce certain technological dependencies.
For organizations, this topic may seem abstract, but it raises very concrete questions: where data is hosted, who controls the systems, how networks are protected, and how services can continue operating when problems occur.
